Requirements
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and quotas
- Identify potential clients and leads and manage the sales process from initial contact to close
- Understand the digital marketing services offered by the agency and effectively communicate them to potential clients
- Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and design, to create and deliver effective sales proposals and presentations
- Use analytics and metrics to measure the success of sales campaigns and adjust strategy accordingly
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices and incorporate them into the agency’s sales strategy
- Manage and lead a sales team, providing guidance and training as needed
- Work with clients to understand their business goals and objectives and create customised solutions to meet those goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
- Monitor and report on competitor activity in the digital marketing industry
- Use CRM and sales tracking tools to manage and track sales progress
- Create and manage a sales budget and provide regular performance reports to the agency management
- Continuously strive to improve sales processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience
Proven experience as a sales executive or similar role in a digital marketing agency
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services and products offered by the agency
- Experience in lead generation and nurturing
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and quotas
- Strong understanding of customer needs and market trends
- Experience in managing and leading a sales team
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in creating and managing a sales budget
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure the success of sales campaigns
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in digital marketing sales
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience in creating and implementing sales training programs
- Familiarity with CRM and sales tracking tools
- Experience in creating and delivering sales presentations and proposals
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
